Introducing the Duncans..... and my very first post.

Okay so here's my story.  My name is Melissa, I'm a mother to 3 crazy kids and a wife to a really cool guy. I decided to try blogging to relieve a little stress and have some fun while I'm at it so here goes.....

So let me introduce you to the Duncan Family:

First there is Monique, my 17 year old daughter, self described as "weird in good way, the person that makes everyone laugh in class but never gets in trouble, actress, extremely above the influence"  I'm sure she will add more later.  I kinda put her on the spot, just called her at a friends house, it went something like this:
Hey Monique.
Hey Mom, what's up?
Not much, hey how would you describe yourself??  I decided to make a blog that we can share, I thought it would be fun to try out, sounds cool huh?
Ummmm..... I guess, why do you want to know about me??
Just to introduce you.
To who Mom?
Actually I think I am the only one reading it so nobody yet.
Okay I'm game. 

Teenagers gotta love em..... or at least try as hard as you can.
Just kidding I lucked out, my kids are really well behaved, only minor hormonal breakdowns here and there but really good grades and neither one has gotten in trouble yet.

Movin right along, we have DeAndre.  Also known as little bear (to me only), Fro Man (to his friends) but mostly just goes by De.
De is 13 years old and turning into a little man.  He is a very sweet boy that loves his family, cooking, video games, sports and girls.  Sorry De just had to throw that in there.  He usually has quite a little fro going on but I paid him $20 to cut it off not too long ago, it was turning into some narly dreads.  Ooops, I have to learn to do better with these kids hair.

Aww what a cute picture, I decided to throw one in there with hair.  This was from a camping trip up by Humboldt County in the Redwoods a few months ago. 

Next in line is my little Ashlee, she is 10 years old (almost 11) and I don't even know where to start describing her.  She is very friendly, outgoing, loud, hyper, funny, sensitive and knows she is the baby and milks it for all she can.  She has alot of friends, speaks English, Spanish and knows some sign.  Just like the other littles, she is a smarty pants. 

Isn't she cute?  I love this picture, I was taking pictures of her Bratz Dolls for her to sell on Ebay and snapped one of her real quick. 

Next is my hubby, the love of my life, soulmate and all that other mushy gushy stuff - Cardell.  He is an amazing man with a heart of gold now let me see if I can find a picture of him smiling....... He's an ex-marine so the tough look is more in....  hehehe.  Oh do you see the weird lady trying to get in the picture??  That's me :)

Thats about it for now.  I guess I can add a little about me as well, my name is Melissa, I am a full time mother, court clerk, wife, friend and addicted to entering contests and giveaways.  I figure it's a pretty good hobby to have though.  More to come on all of us later.  So much you will probably tell me to shut up at some point.
